Hi, I'd like to take a moment and tell you a little about myself and why this power packed one day event can be the turning point for a new you.
I created the concept of holistic weight loss twenty years ago. Basically because I needed it. I grew up in a large family with six girls. And there was a lot of criticism and competition. I was either to skinny or too chunky. I grew up feeling as though the way I looked was never good enough. And later, when I took a part time modeling job to pay for college I couldn't get skinny enough. My diet was horrible. I would drink diet pop all day and eat only one meal. Many times I would use over the counter diet pills to curb appetite. The diet pills worked temporarily but made me feel irritable and short tempered, and when I stopped using them, I would binge. I felt awful. And each time I would gain a pound my self esteem would plummet. I knew I couldn't live this way forever so I started studying and learning about weight loss. And for many years I worked with various national weight loss programs. And what I saw and learned was disastrous. I would watch people spend thousands of dollars. Some would lose, most did not. And the people who did lose inevitable would gain it all back. I knew there had to be a better way. So I began to search for answers and I found them and they changed my life forever.
I took this new transformational information and built the first holistic weight loss centers recommended by major insurance companies. People from every walk of life, people who had tried every diet, every method of weight loss known, including surgery came to my holistic centers and lost weight. And the reason they were finally able to lose the excess fat and keep it off, is because my program is holistic. A total solution for all of you. Body, Mind and Spirit.
You see most weight loss processes are one dimensional focusing on just a portion of the problem, just a portion of who you are. Offering no real solution. And for awhile your enthusiasm is strong and even your clothes feel loser, but eventually, something happens. Maybe you catch a cold or one of your kids need extra attention. Real life takes over. A few weeks pass, you lose ground, and finally give up. But you're still paying for a fancy facility you never use.
Talk about feeling like a loser, and I don't mean fat.
Or maybe you've tried a program based on emotional support where groups of people meet and discuss how they feel. Usually a group leader will also teach behavior modification and sometimes a diet is included, but it's the compassion and understanding that grabs you. I mean these people really understand.
